How can people of different backgrounds and generations take action fort he environment together? These are the questions at the heart of a joint event by the Bremen Mission and the Union des Togolais de Bremen et Alentours (UTBE e.V.), a Bremen association for intercultural dialogue and networking among migrant organisations.

We’ll start with a litter clean-up: together we’ll clean up green spaces and paths in the neighbourhood while talking about environmental justice and sustainable action. In the interactive workshop that follows, “Climate Protection Across Generations”, our education officer Maurice Aboki will bring young and old together to talk about their experiences, concerns and ideas on climate protection. To round things off, there will be an intercultural buffet with music from around the world.

When: Sunday, 22 November 2026, at 12 noon (approx. 4 hours)
Where: Ulrichstr. 4, 28213 Bremen-Schwachhausen, Germany
