The Bremen Mission, together with the protestant education centre bremen and the bremen information centre for human rights, invites you to a seminar on the subject of marzipan.
Many foods have been part of our (eating) culture for so long that we lose sight of how they once came to us as ‘migrants’ from other countries and cultures. They were not always immediately accepted. During this educational time, we want to trace the history of marzipan, prepare it, taste it and consider important aspects of culture, politics and nutrition.
