Project of the Month
Education in Togo Public schools in Togo often struggle with quality, so the Église Évangélique Presbytérienne du Togo (EEPT) has built its own school system. Since 2015, Pastor Luther Degbovi has overseen 112 kindergartens, 127 primary schools, and 17 secondary schools, including six high schools offering the national exam. He also coordinates schools from other Protestant churches in the country. His work focuses on maintaining school buildings in the challenging climate and setting fair tuition fees that reflect local living standards. In addition, the EEPT has launched an environmental education program that trains teachers and raises awareness among thousands of students and their families. Through this commitment, the EEPT provides children and young people across Togo with better opportunities for education and a brighter future.
