Project of the Month
Working with confirmation candidates in Togo The Eglise Evangélique Presbytérienne du Togo (EEPT) offers confirmation classes for 15 to 17-year-olds, which are attended by around 14.000 young people. Pastor Isaac Ahoomey-Zunu, who has headed the department for confirmation work since 2023, attaches great importance to training volunteers that will help implement the classes. He offers seminars and workshops in all seven regions of the church. The training lasts one to two years, is intensive and comprises three meetings per week. The confirmation lessons have various topics and are organised by pastors, deacons and volunteers. They focus on the Bible, the EEPT and music.
