What Impact Does Our Shopping Have?

One-day-workshop in Bremen

Bremen Mission, together with the Evangelisches Bildungswerk Bremen and the Bremer Informationszentrum für Menschenrechte und Entwicklung, invites participants to a one-day-workshop on the topic of „Sustainable Consumption“.

What we consume, how much we consume, and where our products come from have direct consequences for the environment, the climate, and social justice worldwide. Our consumption often happens casually – yet behind everyday items such as clothing and food lie complex global interconnections.

During this workshop, we will explore key questions related to sustainable consumption: Which resources are being used? Under what conditions are products manufactured? And what concrete changes can we make in our daily lives? We will also take a closer look at fairly traded products and their significance for producers and consumers.
Through practical examples, input sessions, and plenty of opportunities for exchange, we aim to gain a deeper understanding of how individual decisions are part of a larger whole.
