The working group ‘Colonial Continuities Oldenburg’ invites you to a short film and a discussion on 20 September at 8 pm.

As part of the series ‘Memory culture from a Namibian perspective’, the Cine K cinema in Oldenburg will be showing the film ‘Stray Flowers’. The subsequent discussion will focus on the past and present of the genocide against the Herero and Nama. The guests are: Laidlaw Peringanda (Swakopmumd Genocide Museum) and the historians Joachim Zeller (Berlin) and Katharina Hoffmann (Oldenburg).
