The Bremen Mission is offering an Ewe language course from August 4 to August 8, 2025. It is intended for future volunteers and other interested individuals.
The Ewe language course provides a good introduction to the language and culture. Ewe is spoken in southern Togo and the Volta Region of Ghana. The course focuses on greeting rituals, shopping situations, and everyday vocabulary. The goal is to help future volunteers settle in Ghana and Togo, conduct their first simple conversations, and spark their interest in continuing to learn the language locally. The course will be led by Gentil Atiwo. He is from Togo and studies German and Romance languages in Bremen.
