The Evangelical Presbyterian Church, Ghana has appointed a new programme officer for women. Elisabeth Niboe-Wuasi is the successor to Christine Adzotor. She introduces herself here:

 "My name is Elizabeth Mavis Yawa Niboe-Wuasi, I am 59 years old and a pastor. I come from Wusuta in the Volta Region in the North Dayi District. I went to primary school in the village of Wusuta and received my secondary education in Anfoega - 7 kilometres from my home.

I completed my teacher training at St. Francis Training College Hohoe (42 kilometres from Wusuta) in 1991 and then continued my education at the University of Education, Winneba and the University of Cape Coast. I also studied theology at Peki Seminary. I have been an ordained minister since 2000, a school pastor at Tsito Senior High Technical School and now also work as a programme officer for women.

My husband and I have a daughter who is 31 years old. We have also taken in two orphans, the two girls are now 14 and 16 years old."
