The Bremen Development Policy Network (BeN) invites you on Saturday, 14 February, from 3:00 pm to 7:30 pm to a not-so-traditional kale tour in Bremerhaven.
BeN writes: From the Sail City viewing platform at a height of 86 metres, we will get an excellent overview of the city. From the water, we will explore (post-)colonial connections, and during the subsequent walk focusing on urban development, we will discover local initiatives in the neighbourhood up close.
Once we are cold enough (after around two hours of walking), a delicious vegetarian organic kale meal will be waiting for us in the Alte Bürger quarter.
For €45, the package includes:
- Admission to the viewing platform
- A postcolonial harbour tour (1 hour)
- Information on urban development and conversations with local initiatives
- Vegetarian organic kale, dessert, a non-alcoholic aperitif, and water
