The Working Group Colonial Continuities will launch its new Winter 2025/26 program at the end of September.
Planned events will address topics such as church, mission and colonialism, apartheid, and resistance. Through art performances, films, readings, and lectures, the working group will offer in-depth insights into the issue of colonialism with contributions from various experts.
On October 9 at 6:30 pm, a talk followed by a discussion on the topic “Brutalization of Public Discourse – How Racism Becomes Normalized” will take place at VHS, Karlstraße 25, 26123 Oldenburg. The speaker will be Sheila Mysorekar from ndo, a network of post-migrant organizations.
