On Monday, March 31, at 7 PM, the Kulturwerkstatt Westend in Bremen will shed light on a largely unknown topic.
It is the story of the fate of 56 Namibian children who were forcibly uprooted in the mid-1980s and taken to the (then) Czechoslovakia to receive education and socialist upbringing. This political experiment ultimately failed due to major political changes in both countries.
Documentary, CZ 2022, 71 min., OV with English subtitles.
Screenwriter Katerína Mildnerová and director Martin Müller will be present.
