On Saturday, June 28, this year’s Culture Participation Market will take place from 2:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the Bremen Rhododendron Park. The Bremen Mission (NM) will also be participating.
The theme of the market in the Garden of Human Rights in the Rhododendron Park (near the Botanika) this year is “Sustainability and Development Need Women Power.”
This is inspired by the fifth goal of the 17 Goals of the 2030 Agenda: Gender Equality.
The afternoon will feature information and activity booths, speeches, and music. The café of the Tenever Mothers’ Center will provide baked goods, and the network of African women will offer cooked meals.
The Bremen Mission will be present with an information and activity booth.
The focus will be on women's microcredit groups, using a ginger project in Togo as an example.
